ABB India Q3 net profit jumps 48.53% at Rs 119.92 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 119.92 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 80.74 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 48.53 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 10.18 per cent at Rs 1,762.98 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,600.11 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During July-September quarter, operating expenses increased by 7.96 per cent to Rs 1,609.46 crore from Rs 1,490.77 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 23.43 per cent at Rs 24.81 crore versus (Sep'20 Rs 20.10 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 39.15 per cent to Rs 168.93 crore as against Rs 121.40 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 26.22 per cent in September quarter.

Interest declined by 27.50 per cent y-o-y to Rs 2.03 crore, while Taxation increased by 59.57 per cent at Rs 45.43 crore (Sep'20 Rs 28.47 crore).
