Poona Dal & Oil Q4 net profit zooms 109.52% at Rs 0.44 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 0.44 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2023 as compared to Rs 0.21 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 109.52 per cent.

Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 22.84 per cent at Rs 31.76 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 41.16 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 23.06 per cent to Rs 31.26 crore from Rs 40.63 crore in year ago period.

Other Income grew by 75.00 per cent at Rs 0.07 crore versus (Mar'22 Rs 0.04 crore).

Operating Profit slipped by 5.66 per cent to Rs 0.50 crore as against Rs 0.53 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 22.66 per cent in March quarter.

Taxation decreased by 53.85 per cent at Rs 0.12 crore (Mar'22 Rs 0.26 crore).
