Sona BLW Precision Q4 net profit down 9.07% at Rs 130.59 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 130.59 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 143.62 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 9.07 per cent.

Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 13.55 per cent at Rs 795.21 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 700.34 crore in the corresponding period last year.

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 11.80 per cent to Rs 570.30 crore from Rs 510.12 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 87.63 per cent at Rs 4.58 crore versus (Mar'23 Rs 37.02 crore).

Operating Profit surged by 18.24 per cent to Rs 224.91 crore as against Rs 190.22 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 4.12 per cent in March quarter.

Interest grew by 48.95 per cent y-o-y to Rs 7.12 crore, while Taxation increased by 27.31 per cent at Rs 38.51 crore (Mar'23 Rs 30.25 crore).
